What to Pack for a Summer Weekend Away at Sponars Chalet: 3-Day Packing List

3-Day Packing List

Often I am asked what to bring for a weekend at Sponars.  What are the mountains like outside the winter season and what will I need?  I like to think of the snowy mountains  as my adventure playground and like to pack all my adventure gear.  It is always balance between packing all the essentials and not over packing where it’s a chore to unpack the car.

It’s no problem if you forget anything as Jindabyne is 20 minutes down the hill.  There you can just about buy anything you may have left behind or do not own yet.

Think layers in the mountains as the weather can change from scorching hot to freezing cold in a matter of hours.  The weather report is a guide but is often incorrect so it’s good to be prepared so the adventure can continue and you are still comfortable.
